  48. Eat peanut butter and go for it.  You have already listed all the right
  49. reasons to do so.  I bought my ICW21AT 5 months ago, and I use 70cm a lot
  50. here in the Seattle area.  Had I gone with only 2 meter, I'd be looking
  51. at dual banders and figuring a way to get one today.

  141. SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
  142. --------------------
  143.  
  144.             Solar activity was low.  An optically uncorrelated C1
  145.        x-ray event occurred at 08/2242Z.  Since then, solar activity
  146.        has consisted of weak B-class x-ray events and low frequency
  147.        (25 - 245Mhz) radio emmissions.  All regions continue their
  148.        slow decay.
  149.  
  150.             Solar activity forecast:  solar activity is expected to be
  151.        very low.
  152.  
  153.             The geomagnetic field has been at unsettled to active
  154.        levels with periods of minor to major storms conditions during
  155.        local nighttime sectors.  Activity is believed to be in
  156.        response to a favorably positioned coronal hole.  The GT 2 MeV
  157.        energetic electron flux was in the high range.
  158.  
  159.             Geophysical activity forecast:  the geomagnetic field is
  160.        expected to be mostly unsettled to active for day one becoming
  161.        mostly unsettled on days two and three.  Isolated periods of
  162.        minor storm conditions can be expected during local nighttime
  163.        sectors, mostly on day one of the period.

  486. Our local ACE hardware store carries small pieces of copper, brass and
  487. aluminum sheet.  I've bought some which was 0.060" thick, didn't even
  488. look if they had anything thicker.  It's probably worth a look see.
