- Eat peanut butter and go for it. You have already listed all the right
- reasons to do so. I bought my ICW21AT 5 months ago, and I use 70cm a lot
- here in the Seattle area. Had I gone with only 2 meter, I'd be looking
- at dual banders and figuring a way to get one today.

- For those of you who have been, over the last several months, trying
- to subscribe to the `Boatanchors' tube radio email reflector
- you can now ftp each day's digest of articles as follows:
- ftp sunSITE.unc.edu and
- cd to pub/academic/agriculture/agronomy
- and `get' DAILY.BA
-
- For those of you who unsubscribed from qrp-l because there is
- no longer a daily digest do the above and `get' DAILY.QRP to
- receive each day's digest of qrp-l articles.
-
- Thanks go to Steve AB4EL for supplying a site.

- SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
- --------------------
-
- Solar activity was low. An optically uncorrelated C1
- x-ray event occurred at 08/2242Z. Since then, solar activity
- has consisted of weak B-class x-ray events and low frequency
- (25 - 245Mhz) radio emmissions. All regions continue their
- slow decay.
-
- Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to be
- very low.
-
- The geomagnetic field has been at unsettled to active
- levels with periods of minor to major storms conditions during
- local nighttime sectors. Activity is believed to be in
- response to a favorably positioned coronal hole. The GT 2 MeV
- energetic electron flux was in the high range.
-
- Geophysical activity forecast: the geomagnetic field is
- expected to be mostly unsettled to active for day one becoming
- mostly unsettled on days two and three. Isolated periods of
- minor storm conditions can be expected during local nighttime
- sectors, mostly on day one of the period.

- B. High Latitudes
- Active 25/20/15
- Minor Storm 20/15/10
- Major-Severe Storm 10/10/05
-
- HF propagation conditions continued to be degraded along
- most polar and high latitude paths. Effects were also noticed
- into the middle latitude night-sectors. Similar conditions are
- expected on 10 September before gradual improvements begin on
- 11 and 12 September.
